Alt Ed Staff Practicing Vulnerability in Learning Bilingual Family Liaison at National Night Out

      WELCOME BACK! I hope you have all had a wonderful summer! As we gear up for a new school year, I wanted to let you know of some exciting developments.  FBUSD has received a 5 year Community Schools grant to support connections of community support to our students. The grant will be coordinated by Martha Lopez serving in the newly created role of Community Schools Coordinator. The grant will provide funding for Family Liaisons, upgrades at the JD Center, Mindfulness through Martial Arts, access to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for families with children 0-5 years old, and access for our students to Psychiatric services. These services are not up and running yet, but we will be adding them throughout the year.  Our Custodial and Maintenance teams have been busy this summer. I really appreciate all that they do to ensure our sites are clean and safe for students and staff. Please join me in thanking them for their hard work!  Construction projects...

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS WHEN REQUESTING  FBPD GUESTS TO YOUR CLASSROOM OR CAMPUS CONTACT your SITE ADMINISTRATOR with the DATE, TIME, and OFFICER you would like to invite WAIT for your SITE ADMINISTRATOR to confirm the request with either Chief Cervenka or Captain O'Neal ENJOY your visit! The FB Police Department has requested that we follow these steps to schedule officers for visits to better facilitate schedules and availability, and to offer all officers an opportunity to work with our schools and students. Also, if you have any requests for funding from the FBPD, they should be routed through the site administrator to the superintendent.  Thank You for continuing the tradition!
