Whew! We made it through the first full week of school! Thank you to everyone for making our district a great place for our students. I have heard so many compliments about our staff and how smooth the start of this school year has been. I hope you can get some well-deserved rest this weekend.

We will have an Equity Committee this year. The committee will hold the first planning meeting in October and meet monthly through the rest of the year. Please let Joe know if you are interested in being a part of this committee. 

There will be an opportunity for a book study to support equitable teaching practices. More information about this opportunity will be provided soon.

They may have NO background knowledge; they may have a DIFFERENT understanding; they may have a completely WRONG idea of the concept or information. DO check for understanding, and, when necessary, PROVIDE background information!
