CEI Family Engagement Community of Practice
I am looking forward to our November 2 Professional Learning Day. We will focus on Adult SEL with support from two dynamic presenters and an opportunity for staff to meet at school sites to discuss the implementation of our professional learning. A formal schedule will be released soon. We welcome everyone, but also expect all certificated staff to attend.
MCOE will also offer professional learning for our classified staff on November 2. We will send the flyer out to classified staff again early next week.

Join MCOE on Saturday, October 24th for a hands-on workshop focused on second language acquisition and instructional strategies you can use right away in the classroom.
Participation stipends are available, and lunch is provided.
Expository Reading and Writing Curriculum (ERWC) workshop beginning November 12.
ERWC is an A-G approved 11th and 12th grade English course designed to prepare students
for college coursework and postsecondary success.
Participants who attend all four sessions will receive access to the curriculum.
Sessions held Nov. 12 & 13, Dec. 7, and Jan. 15 at the MCOE River Campus in Ukiah.
