Today was an exciting and historic day for Fort Bragg Unified as we celebrated the grand opening of our new Alternative Education campus! This milestone represents years of planning, hard work, and dedication from our staff, students, and the incredible community that has supported us throughout this journey.
I want to give a special shout-out to Barry Silva, our maintenance team, and our custodial crew for their tremendous efforts in getting the campus ready for today's celebration. Their hard work behind the scenes was essential to making the grand opening such a success. Thank you for all you did to make this day possible!
The opening of this campus also marks a significant milestone in our district's history. For the first time, all of our students are learning in permanent classrooms rather than portable buildings as their primary instructional spaces. This is an accomplishment worth celebrating and a reflection of our community's commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for every student.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality. Most importantly, I am excited for our Alternative Education students and staff, who now have a beautiful new campus to call their own. This investment reflects our shared belief that every student deserves a learning environment where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
