Diversity is Key: Hispanic heritage is not a monolith; it includes over 20 distinct nations and a fusion of Indigenous, African, European, and Asian influences.

Seeking Input: FBHS Stadium Facility Conditions

and Benefits of Improvements

The City of Fort Bragg is applying for grant funding to improve the track and playing field at Fort Bragg High School’s stadium. The proposed project would include an all-weather track and an improved playing surface, creating a safer and more reliable facility for students, athletic programs, and the broader community.

As part of the grant application process, the City is gathering community input regarding the current facility and the potential benefits of these improvements. We invite parents and guardians to complete a brief survey and share their perspectives.

Proceeds will support Noyo Food Forest in their work growing food for local schools and providing hands-on education for students.

This year, Carolen Barrett and culinary students from Mendocino High School will be preparing the dinner and helping with service.

Classified Employees of Fort Bragg Unified School District who are eligible under the California School Employees Association (CSEA) agreement may sign up using the form on the left. Employees must pass the Bilingual Proficiency Assessment online test with a score of eighty (80) percent or better to be considered "proficient."

The Bilingual Proficiency Assessment may be taken one (1) time per year, and an eligible employee who passes the test does not need to retest to remain considered "proficient."

A test time will be scheduled based on your responses regarding your availability.

Please be sure you allow a full hour for arrival and completion of the online assessment. Testing is done at the FBUSD District Office, 312 South Lincoln Street.
