Students Speaking at the City Council Meeting 8/10/26

New additions to the Redwood Blacktop (Thank you Punya, other staff, and community!)

It was wonderful to see everyone who was able to attend our Welcome Back Lunch today. I appreciate the energy, enthusiasm, and sense of connection you are bringing into the new school year.

District Office staff met with AirMed this week, and we are working through the details to provide AirMed coverage for all district employee households beginning October 1. We will share additional information about enrollment in the coming weeks.

Please be assured that air ambulance services are already covered under our current medical insurance plan. AirMed will provide supplemental coverage, helping ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience if you or a member of your household ever needs air ambulance services.

Thank you for all your hard work this week as we prepare to welcome our students back. I am excited to see their smiling faces return to our campuses!

I am confident that 2026–2027 is going to be a great year!
