Fort Bragg Middle School Drama Performance is EPIC!
As we look ahead to Staff Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to share my sincere gratitude for every member of our district team. This week is about honoring all staff. Each of you plays an essential role in supporting our students, families, schools, and one another.
As you know, the work of our district is broad and complex. It happens in classrooms, offices, cafeterias, buses, libraries, playgrounds, maintenance shops, counseling spaces, after-school programs, and countless other places across our campuses. Some of this work is highly visible, and much of it happens quietly behind the scenes. All of it matters.
I see the care our teachers and instructional staff bring to students each day. I see the dedication of our classified staff who keep our schools running, support student needs, maintain safe and welcoming environments, provide meals, assist families, and solve problems before many people even know they exist. I see the leadership of our managers and administrators as they support staff, respond to challenges, and continue working to improve outcomes for students.
What stands out most is that our staff consistently go beyond job descriptions. You notice when students need extra support. As evidenced above, you create opportunities for them to feel connected and engaged. You help our students understand the strengths of Fort Bragg while also helping them see the larger world available to them.
Thank you for the professionalism, compassion, creativity, and persistence you bring to this work. Our students are better supported because of you, and our district is stronger because of the collective effort of every employee. During Staff Appreciation Week, I hope each of you feels seen, valued, and appreciated.
