NEW FBUSD WEBSITE HAS LAUNCHED!!

We are excited to announce the launch of our new district website at the end of January 2026. This marks an important first step in our commitment to providing families, students, and community members with a more user-friendly online experience.

The new website has been redesigned with you in mind, featuring improved navigation and a cleaner, more modern layout that makes it easier to find the information you need. Please keep in mind that the new website is still undergoing many changes and updates as we move to a more efficient and streamlined platform for our families, staff, and community members.

Please be patient as we work to refine the content, navigation, and look of this new FBUSD website. Thank you!

I am pleased to announce that Dolores Figueiredo and Jody Burdick won a drawing for tickets to the Rotary Crab Feed. They were eligible for the draing because they have had perfect attendance at work so far this school year! Thank you to Dolores and Jody for their dedication to our students!

As the year finds its rhythm, it’s easy to slip back into busy routines and overlook how we, and the people around us, are really doing. This month, we’re focusing on the power of pausing to check in, noticing early signs of stress and showing up with intention.

In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find a simple Tip of the Month you can put into practice right away, a reminder of how Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) helps turn care into action, and ways to keep building supportive, connected communities in your personal life and beyond.

We have grant funding to cover taste testing!

I hope to get some California-grown, organic RAINBOW popping corn!  How fun!

If you'd like some to pop for your class, please let me know by February 10th
so it will be available the week after break.

Thank you for supporting

Californians Together is proud to co-lead, along with The Children’s Partnership, ALL IN for Safe Schools, a California-based campaign bringing together TK-12 and early childhood education non-profit leaders to support educators in creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environments—especially for students from immigrant families, LGBTQ+ students, and other historically marginalized communities.

ALL IN for Safe Schools is proud to share a TK-12 toolkit that offers a comprehensive hub designed to help educators implement safe, inclusive practices, with clear Know Your Rights guidance.

Resources include:

  • Strategies to protect and support students from immigrant families and LGBTQ+ students

  • Student- and family-centered tools to promote advocacy, wellness, and belonging

  • Actionable guidance and connections to support networks, so no educator has to navigate these challenges alone
