Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great break and start to 2026. I am looking forward to a great year with you all!
We are forming a Professional Development Committee. This committee will help to provide feedback on what would be relevant for PD in the coming summer and school year. We will have one representative from each site on the committee. Our first meeting is planned for 3:30 PM on January 22. If you are interested, please contact your site principal.
We will begin a pilot of new Math curriculum for grades K-8 next school year. MCOE will be offering some PD opportunities to support preparation for the pilot. A team of teachers and administrators previewed some of the available curricula at MCOE before the holidays. We will be piloting two different curricula next year with full implementation in 2027-2028.
I hope you have a great weekend.

When it comes to your net check, there could be some adjustments based on the latest IRS and California tax tables for 2026. Just a friendly reminder that your net check can be influenced by your own unique situation. So, if you’re unsure about anything, it’s a good idea to touch base with your tax advisor. They can help clear up any confusion!
