Fort Bragg Community Trunk or Treat!

FBHS Getting Into the Hogwarts Spirit!

As we move through November, I want to take a moment to honor the veterans who are part of our school community. Their dedication to service, both to our country and now to our students, is truly commendable. By continuing to serve in our district, they demonstrate an ongoing commitment to people, peace, and purpose.

This Veteran’s Day, please take a moment to thank the remarkable individuals in our schools and community who have served our nation. Their example reminds us of the power of service and the impact one person can have on many lives.

With SNAP being paused in November, many families in our community are facing
a sudden, overwhelming food insecurity.

When: Saturday, November 8th - 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon
What: Donate fresh produce & non-perishable food items

Donations will go directly to the Fort Bragg Food Bank to support families in need.
You can help in two easy ways:

1. Front Porch Pick-Up:
Email your name and address to FortBraggRotary@gmail.com by Friday, November 7, to be added to our pick-up list. Rotary volunteers will collect donations from your porch if you live between Pudding Creek Road and Simpson Lane in Fort Bragg, the morning of the drive (Saturday, November, between 9 am - 12 noon).

2. Drop-Off:
Bring donations on Saturday, November 8 between 9 am and 12 noon to either location
📍 Redwood Elementary School parking lot (324 S. Lincoln St.)
📍 Fort Bragg Senior Center parking lot (490 N. Harold St.)

For our friends SOUTH of Fort Bragg:
If you live in the Mendocino area and would like to participate, you can drop off your donations at Farmers Insurance – Raymond Alarcon (45060 Ukiah Street, Suite B, Mendocino) between Monday, November 3 and Friday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ray is part of the Mendocino Rotary Club, and we’re so thankful for him teaming up with us to help feed local families!
Every can, bag, or box of food makes a difference.
Let’s come together, Fort Bragg, and make sure no family goes hungry this season!
