I know it takes a lot to make the learning environments the special places they become with students present. All of the classrooms I have visited so far have been wonderful learning spaces! To quote a parent at the Redwood event, "We live in Mendocino, but drive our student in every day. We know she is getting an education that meets her needs! We make a choice for her to be here, and we are so happy we do."  THANK YOU for making our schools special places for our students.

Our students from Noyo High School have helped to create art that will be featured in a fundraiser at Cobalt Gallery this evening. Please come out to support them if you are available.

Workplace Violence Prevention Program

The Fort Bragg Unified School District (FBUSD) has developed this
Workplace Violence Prevention Program
to address hazards known to be associated with the four major types of workplace violence:

Type I: workplace violence involves a violent act committed by a person with no legitimate
relationship to the workplace who enters the workplace with the intent to commit a crime.
Type II: involves a violent act or threat of violence directed at FBUSD employees by parents,
                students, or visitors.
Type III: involves a violent act or threat of violence against an employee by a present
or former employee, supervisor, or manager.
Type IV: involves workplace violence committed in the workplace by someone who does not work
there but has or is known to have had a personal relationship with an employee.
