This week, we released a short training to help everyone learn more about our district’s Wellness Policy. The training highlights the many ways we work together to support the health and well-being of our students and staff. The training is about 5 minutes long and is available on Keenan.

We were also honored to welcome the national team from the Blue Zones Project for a visit. They were very complimentary of the progress we have made as a district. They were particularly impressed with our expanded mental health supports, student access to healthy, locally grown foods, and our support for staff wellness.

Our schools are officially Blue Zones certified, and our district is a Blue Zones certified worksite. As a thank you for our ongoing commitment to wellness, the Blue Zones Project has generously offered to purchase hydration stations for our schools. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff and community in creating healthy environments where everyone can thrive. Thank you for your part in keeping our students and staff healthy!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
