Dana Gray Elementary Staff Step Competition!

Wendy had the highest amount of steps for a single day - 26,118

Britt had a 4-week total number of steps - 432,385

As a staff, Dana Gray educators took over 4.6 million steps!

A Big SHOUT OUT to FBHS staff. We received word this afternoon that FBHS has been awarded a 6-year accreditation from WASC. Congratulations to the staff for all of their hard work!!!

As we move into the final weeks of school, please keep an eye out for any students who may need support during the summer while away from school. If you discover unmet needs in the community, please let one of our fabulous Family Liaisons know. They will get our students and families connected with available resources, including counseling and community resources to support health and wellness. 

Please feel free to share any end-of-year activities that would be appropriate for the blog. We will be sure to include them!

OPEN ENROLLMENT

EMPLOYEE HEALTHCARE BENEFITS

NOW IS THE TIME TO UPDATE COVERAGE AND MAKE CHANGES

Enrollment is now OPEN through May 25.

Key Update:
The Coordination of Benefits form is no longer required this year.

However, we are still required to collect Domestic Partner information for tax reporting purposes. This applies to new, returning, dissolved, or newly registered partnerships.

Please Note:
The only forms required from employees this year are related to Domestic Partnership status and those declining benefits who work over .50 FTE, if applicable.

PROJECT GLAD

This is a 2-day training.

Lunch will be provided for all participants!

Coastal Session:

July 28 & 29

Fort Bragg Middle School Library

9am - 4pm

This session will focus slightly more on secondary classroom settings

This session will focus slightly more on primary classroom settings

FBUSD Staff may choose either to receive:

a day of regular pay for each day they attend or DCEC credit (not both)

Each 2-day GLAD training is a total of 12 hours, which equals 1 DCEC Unit

There are no stipends or travel reimbursements available.
