In the hustle of the school day, especially this time of year, it's easy to get caught up in the to-do lists, the deadlines, and all the moving parts. When you feel this way, I encourage you to take a moment to pause and reconnect with why you chose this work—to serve students. Being mindful in the moment helps us remember that every interaction, every decision, every effort matters. Our presence, grounded in purpose, can make all the difference for the young people we serve. Thank you for all you do to support our community.

PROJECT GLAD

Early Registration for FBUSD Staff

This is a 2-day training.

Lunch will be provided for all participants!

Coastal Session:
July 28 & 29
Fort Bragg Middle School Library
9am - 4pm
This session will focus slightly more on secondary classroom settings

July 30 & 31
MCOE - River Room Ukiah
9am - 4pm
This session will focus slightly more on primary classroom settings

FBUSD Staff may choose either to receive:

a day of regular pay for each day they attend or DCEC credit (not both)

Each 2-day GLAD training is a total of 12 hours, which equals 1 DCEC Unit

There are no stipends or travel reimbursements available.
