I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break. I am looking forward to a happy and productive 2025 with all of you.

At the District Office, we are beginning planning for the 2025-2026 school year. We will be sending out the intent to return notices soon. We are also planning for professional development for the coming summer. Through the Community Schools grant, we have funding to support a robust professional development program for the summer. We are currently planning topics in Restorative Practices, strategies to support multilingual learners, and math instructional strategies. If there are other topics that you would like us to explore, please contact me.

Sadly, I must share with you the news of the passing of Keith Wyner. While I did not know Keith personally, everyone I spoke to said some of the same things about him. He was a long time special education teacher at Redwood Elementary who cared deeply about the success of his students. He was kind, funny, and active. He was also an avid photographer who photographed many community events and shared the photos with anyone who had an interest. By all accounts, Keith will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family.
