FBHS Homecoming!

I hope you are all doing well. I am excited to see many of you on November 1. This week has kept me busy supporting some fantastic initiatives in the district.
We held the first meeting of our Anti-Bias Committee (Equity Committee). Thank you to everyone who participated. If you know of someone I should connect with to be a part of this committee, please let me know.
Our Community Engagement Initiative team attended professional development in Anaheim. This team is funded by a grant through the state. The goal of the team is to increase our engagement with parents and the community. You will see more information from this group in the future.
We also continue to move forward with our safety work. I will attend a conference next week about responses to large scale emergencies in our region. We will hold a town hall on safety on November 6. Our Safety Committee will meet on November 7. Feel free to reach out with any specific concerns for student or staff safety.
