It was a busy week for a short week. I hope you have the time to look over the resources below. The Multilingual Learner Collaborative resource link has many great resources to support our students. I really appreciate Ryan Magee, Kirsten Cesario, Meredith Stenberg, and Carla Aguirre for coming to this training to move this important work forward. There are additional sessions that can be accessed from the resource links.

We are hearing about concern for our students regarding the policy shifts we see coming from the federal level. We will continue to provide a safe and supportive space for ALL students. If you need any assistance in doing so, please reach out to a site administrator. We also have heard that Tapestry Family Services will be offering groups to support concerns on immigration status as well as our LGBTQ+ students. The information for the LGBTQ+ support group is below.

I was informed today that Susan Garratt, a long-time teacher of music and art, passed away. In addition to her support of our students, she composed the Redwood Rainbows song. Please keep her family in your thoughts.

I hope you have a restful weekend.

-Joe
