CONGRATULATIONS ON A WONDERFUL FAMILY EVENT!
Staff Appreciation

Next week we celebrate Staff Appreciation Week in the district and it’s an opportune time to reflect on the immense value and unwavering dedication of all FBUSD school staff. Each member of our team, from teachers and administrators to support staff and maintenance crews, plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences and futures of our students.

Our teachers, instructional assistants, and library staff inspire curiosity and a love of learning in the classroom and on campuses. Your commitment goes beyond the curriculum; you nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of every child, tailoring your approaches to meet diverse needs while fostering a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Equally important are our administrators who ensure the smooth operation of our schools. You ensure school operations are smooth, from scheduling, training, and logistics to critical communication between parents and educators. Your efficiency and dedication allow everyone on campus to focus on students, knowing that the business of school is taken care of with efficiency and care.

And then there are the vital contributions of our support staff including custodians, groundskeepers, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and technology support. As professionals, you all work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to maintain a beautifully clean, safe, and supportive school environment. Your work ensures our schools are safe spaces and that our students receive the nutritious meals and safe transportation they depend on daily.

This week, and every week, we recognize that our achievements are not built on individual efforts, but on the collective hard work and passion of all our staff. Each person’s contribution is essential, no matter the role they play. As a superintendent, I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated individuals. Your resilience, especially through challenging times, continues to inspire me and everyone in our community.

To all our staff, thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and unwavering support of our students and of each other. You make our schools into communities of care, collaboration, and mutual respect. This week, we celebrate you and recognize you - your impact is appreciated every single day!

Let’s continue to support one another, celebrate our successes, and work together towards a brighter future for all our students. Here’s to another year of exceptional teamwork and outstanding contributions!
