A Message from Joe

I hope everyone is having a good start to spring. It is such a busy time of year in the district. I appreciate the efforts that everyone has been putting into their professional learning. Our teachers at FBMS conducted instructional round walkthroughs with some guests from the district and county. Our instructional coaches at FBHS taught lessons and received feedback to sharpen their skills. Our teachers at Dana Gray participated in PD to sharpen their skills in supporting student behaviors. Some of our staff at Redwood are learning more about Universal Design for Learning and full inclusion practices to support all learners. Our Alternative Education staff have been working on their skills in implementing Big Picture Learning and all of the many facets that involves. Our Board and Administrators have taken part in intense PD to support increasing equity in our district. Thank you all for you dedication to our students!
