News, Notes & Reminders...

• Random Acts of Kindness- 
• Joe has two pairs of tickets to the Drive Thru Crab Feed on January 21 sponsored by Fort Bragg Rotary and the Mendocino Coast Sports Foundation. 
• If you have witnessed a random act of kindness by staff on campus this year, please send a brief description with the employee's name to jaldridge@fbusd.us to nominate that person for a chance to win.
• Send nominations by Wednesday at 3:00pm to be included in the drawing.
• Descriptions will be shared out on next week's blog. (Employee names will be redacted where appropriate.) 
• We will start planning for the 2023-2024 school year soon. We will send out surveys as well as hold meetings to discuss needs and how to best plan to meet them. If something comes to mind in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to your site administrator or me with thoughts or ideas.

• An online store has been setup to order FBUSD clothing. The store can be found here. If you order, the item will be shipped directly to you. 
• COVID Vaccines/Boosters are available at the Mendocino Coast Clinic from 2:00-5:00 PM on Tuesdays. More information can be found here.
• Testing is available at the District Office from 7:30-8:30 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM each day.

• Do you know someone who would like to become a substitute teacher? The basic skills test requirement is being waived for 2023. This makes it easier to get a substitute credential. Contact Suzie if you need more information.

• W-2 tax forms will be mailed to the address on file. Please make sure Human Resources has your correct address. 

• The annual seniority lists are being sent out using Google Forms. Please complete the questions, and review the information for accuracy. All corrections will be reviewed and addressed. Intent to return requests will follow shortly.

• 988 Crisis and Suicide Lifeline has gone active nationwide. Anyone can call or text 988 to be connected with a mental health counselor trained to support crisis intervention for substance abuse, suicide, or other mental health needs. You can find out more about the Lifeline at this link.
