- As we head into our last week before winter break, I want to thank you all for everything you do to support our students. I hope to see many of you in the coming week as I visit schools.
- We have been successful in getting a Strong Workforce Program grant to add plant and soil sciences to our already outstanding agriculture pathways for next school year.
- I appreciate all of the efforts you have been implementing to keep our students healthy and safe at school in the midst of the various illnesses that have been going around. We are continuing to message to families to keep ill students at home and to get vaccines when appropriate.
- An online store has been setup to order FBUSD clothing. The store can be found here. If you order, the item will be shipped directly to you.
- COVID Vaccines/Boosters are available at the Mendocino Coast Clinic from 2:00-5:00 PM on Tuesdays. More information can be found here.
- Testing is available at the District Office from 7:30-8:30 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM each day.
- You can read this week's report from Dr. Miller here.
- HR Notes from Suzie
Do you know someone who would like to become a substitute teacher? The basic skills test requirement is being waived for 2023. This makes it easier to get a substitute credential. Contact Suzie if you need more information.
December paychecks will be issued on the 15th.
January payroll will be on the regular pay cycle.
Paystub credentialing reminders are from the Mendocino County Office of Education. Unfortunately, they usually need to catch up on the current status. If you have not received a reminder from me, you are in good standing.
Spring Coaches are needed for baseball, golf, softball, swimming, tennis, track, and wrestling! If interested, please contact Jen Gardner at FBHS or Leticia Ramirez at FBMS.
