News, Notes & Reminders...
- Thank you to all of our staff who have helped to make our fall sports seasons a success. We have had great participation in our sports teams at the middle and high school level this fall. I really appreciate the hard word and dedication that goes into support of these activities for our students.
- Thank you to everyone for your responses on the survey for your preferences for the November 1 staff development.
- We will provide schedules for you on November 1.
- We will have availability for some sessions capped due to the nature of the session.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
- Additional details will be shared next week.
- We are looking forward to an exciting day of learning.
- The Board of Trustees approved the proposed raise at their meeting last night. I appreciate the hard work that all of you do for our students.
- COVID Vaccines/Boosters are available at the Mendocino Coast Clinic from 2:00-5:00 PM on Tuesdays. More information can be found here.
- Testing is available at the District Office from 7:30-8:30 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM each day. At home test kits are available.
- Please complete the FBUSD Personal Emergency Information form for this year if you have not already done so. Please complete this even if none of the information has changed from previous years. The form can be found here.

Tons of engaging activities/videos/stories in both English and Spanish (you choose the language) on a wide variety of topics. This site makes me so happy!For those of us who work with Long Terms English Learners (LTELs)/Long Term Multilingual Learners (LTMLs), this article from Edutopia gives some insights worth considering:
- 988 Crisis and Suicide Lifeline has gone active nationwide. Anyone can call or text 988 to be connected with a mental health counselor trained to support crisis intervention for substance abuse, suicide, or other mental health needs. You can find out more about the Lifeline at this link.
